Why A New Balm?
At KLORIS, we believe that comfort shouldn’t come with compromises.
Seven years ago, we started this journey because our own families were searching for something better. Matt’s father was living with a rare neurological condition. Kim’s mum faced daily discomfort from inflamed joints. My own mum became bed-bound after a serious accident, and I witnessed firsthand how harsh opioid and steroid-based painkillers impacted her life.
We wanted a natural alternative - one that supported relief without the side effects of pharmaceuticals.
Drawing on my background in plant sciences (and the wisdom of my family - my brother and sister-in-law are plant scientists at Cambridge University), we set out to create something different.
That’s how our original Comfort CBD Balm was born. Crafted with high-strength CBD, CBG, nourishing butters, and hemp essential oil, it quickly became a trusted solution for thousands of people - from athletes to grandparents. It’s even found its way into world-class spas like Bulgari and Six Senses.
But over the years, we kept hearing the same feedback:
